yesterday, a texaco station had a special on gas that was for 2.00 a gallon from 5pm to 8pm
so around 4:15ish daniel and i pulled into the gas station and there was a couple other cars there waiting at a pump so we pulled into one and waited, the news crews were theere setting up as the time was getting closer and slowly people started to line up behind us and other cars already at a pump, well..some of the texaco emlpoyess started to tell some people mainly the ones behind the cars at the pump i guess to for another line and they didnt approach the cars at the pump..well 5 mins before it hit 5pm the manager from texaco began to go to a couple cars at the pumps next to us and they proceeded to leave so i told daniel oh great...so the manager made his way to the window and asked us if we were here for the special and we said yes, and then he told us wellll its only at the first two pumps of the gas station!!!!..WTH, and that that we needed to pull out and get in the "LITTLE" line that was already forming on the service road, and i said thanks for telling us RIGHT BEFORE! and so we drove around to get in the LITTLE line and yea it was at least a 1/2 mile long, and more cars continued to gather....and only the 1st two pumps?? yea we would have been there forever so i left in my fit and put in my 3.56 a gallon gas at town & country.. :kickcan:
