If you are getting like a ton of PM's about the status of your pet, just go into your pet's profil page and un select ( or do not check ) the part about receiving private messages.
You get the Cash to maintain the pets by posting in the forums or winning big in the arcade room. or playing the coin toss or poker game found in the member area. your pet will display a message when yo visit your profile.
I never really announced it because wasn't really finished with it. I wanted to add more animals and finish the battle part of the game. yeah it's just for kicks.

My pet died and I had to pay to get her back, and I kept a good eye on her! What's up with that!! I feed it and gave it water and cleaned up after her and she died on me, what did I do wrong??
