Here's a group that I stumbled upon on youtube.com they're from Corpus Christi, Tx and play great IMO they have their own sound unlike a lot of new acts who try to bite off Intocable!

The song sounds familiar, but I'm not sure if it is an old song played by somebody else, anyways LET THE VIDEO LOAD AND SKIP TO THE 2:30 MARK WHERE THE SONG BEGINS......

No wonder he looked familiar, it's the Bajo player from Albert Zamora.. had no idea they split.
The song is an old cover... I don't know who the original artist who sang it, but I think it's an Mexican oldie.
but you may have heard it from Grupo Mazz, Fernando.
im talking about 1985 or so. check it:

As for the group... they are talented, but im not too much a fan of the chamacos/albert z voice style but as always, the music always makes up for it on those kinds of bands. They can jam... they sound promissing.

Thanks Pete I knew I had heard the song before. I'm surprised I don't have the song in my MAZZ collection. The style of singing the bajo player is using isn't my favorite either, but the vato does have a voice and the accordian player gives the song kind of a cajun vibe. IMO its a good performance and its nice to see a new act that isn't bitting off the Intocable sound. :paz:
