Find a marriage counseler if you're wanting a big wedding. Take your time and don't rush things. One thing at a time....

Good luck.

First thing first, rent a hall. Book a hall or a center. Also, book the church. Everything will fall from there. Get your people and gals together, but your invitations should be the last thing you do.

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” –Emerson

hey i had a big wedding, maybe i can help u out, just as long as ur ready to commit to one thing at a time, u should be good. i mean, commit to one color, or maybe 2, but i dont more than that would be good once u have chosen a color, everything else should be easy, since u will know what color u will use

The hall/center and church are the best to get out of the way first. some ideas:

Get as many people involved as already mentioned.

Choose the date for the wedding. ( you probably already do )

wedding theme

Figure out who's invited, grab and orginize thier addresses. will it be invitation only, if yes, will those with invitations be allowed to bring other friends and family members and how many?

Find a professional photographer
Who's gonna record the video

Orginaze one of those wishlists at your favorite store for gifts.

Music ( BAND OR DJ or Both ) book them at least 8 months before the Wedding.

Pastel ( ? )

La comida ( find out who's gonna do the catering/cooking )

Limo service?

A list is very important because if not you'll have a dozen people doing the same thing and if you have something specific you'd like then SAY it-and I agree take a calendar and get things straight with the church and THEN the hall. Once you choose a color and get a date picked and get the church the rest is alot easier. I do recommend that you try to get everyone rounded up on 1 day and get them fitted (ladies one day guys another day) otherwise it's a hassle-sometimes-you know this person hasn't gotten fitted yet. Register, register and register-make a list of those items you'll be needing (wedding gifts), it makes it easier on you and everyone else. People ask for partial payment-you have them give you a receipt put them all in one place, mark what it is for, what is owed and before the lucky day you make sure you get with them again and that everything is clear as water as to what they are to do and how it is to go. Like Pete always says "Google is your friend!" :paz:
