Dates--- who pays??

so when u and ur boyfriend/girlfriend -or- husband/wife go out on dates, who pays?? or who do u think should really pay? what are ur thoughts on this?

when my husband and i were just dating, he would pay. now when we go out to eat, dance, or to the movies, he still pays!! theres times i pay, and im always willing to do so, but more than likely he'll do it. things havent changed in that matter, hopefully they wont :whistle:

I always pay but there's been a couple occassions when my date has really insisted on paying so in order to keep an argurment from starting I just let them.

when i've gone out....the guys always paid.

But definitely don't mind paying sometimes.....i don't think there's anything wrong with the girl paying once in a while...

usually they don't let me though....(hey...i'm cool with that...lol)....but i try!! :wink:

Well, If I was back in high school, the guy...but I'm OLDER now it doesn't matter too me. But it has to be equal, for example you today me next time or whatever...you know what I mean! :lol:

When my husband and I were dating he paid most of the time, but sometimes I paid, and he was okay with it. Now that we are married-well he is the only one working so he pays! :lol:

When I was working his check usually went to bills and my went to my truck payment and whatever was left was what we used when we went out to eat or where ever. For us, it's all the same, it doesn't matter, our checks still go to the same household-does that make sense?? :paz:

I think a guy should always pay on the first couple of dates and usually a guy should want to pay, you know its shows off his macho side :lol:

But, when your dating i think it should go both ways. My hubsnad and I both take care of the bill we take turns ...whatever. If he had to pay a lot of bills one week than i will take care of the bill vise versa.

I think its half and half …..if he gets dinner I invite next time or I give him a thank you gift the next day …..when I pay its because I invite the person its just how I see it

Guys usually end up paying for everything, it's just how it is.

I pay for my date/girl whatever, It's just something I'm used to.
