Have you ever put yourself in the shoes of an illegal ?

What if you had to leave family and country because of economics ?

What if you didn't understand the culture and the language of where you had to live in order for your family to survive ?

What if your family was caught up in a war and killed, and you had to flee but had nothing to go back to after the war ?

What if you saw that the only ones getting richer are those that don't play fair, and the only way you have left to get ahead is by swiming accross to where there is still some hope ?

"What if" What wouldn't you do to get thru in life ?

I think whats great about this country is that you can make something great of yourself... if you choose and if you want it bad enouph. My suegra is an immigration specilist, she gets them legal and they scrape up whatever they have to do to sign the guestbook. Shoot, these Latinos open all these small businesses, go to college. They come from nothing to build something. I know a lot of born Americans that would rather sit on their asses all day and not work.
