The stars shine upon my nights,and
in them I could swear I see your eyes.
But your so far away from me now, and
I know that I will never see you again.
In the reflection of the lakes water
I see the moonlight as I hear your tender
sighs. But when I look up, I realize that
it is only the wind singing a sad melody.
I watch the couples holding hands,and see
their smiles. Then I turn my face away,
and think of memories of yesterday.
No longer will I feel your arms around
me, or smell the fragrance of your scent.
No more, will I taste the lips that once
were mine, or make love to you all night.
I guess sometimes,love is not meant to be.
At least thats the way it was for you and me.
Somewhere along the road of life, you and I
went our separate ways, and with it the hopes
and dreams that we both shared.Just like tears
that can never be replaced,everything just
fell away.Now all that remains is the heartache
and the pain,of our- LOST LOVE
