These days it pays to be careful, just like Caker says things can unfortunately go wrong very quickly. Here is some legal advice from a practicing Attorney on parties and minors, and also a survey of whether adults believe a person found guilty should be punished, and also an instance of a liquor store selling to minors. I also contrasted laws between two States Colorado and Texas, each state has it own laws, some are tougher than others!
