WASHINGTON - Tim Russert, NBC News’ Washington bureau chief and the moderator of “Meet the Press,” died Friday after suffering a heart attack at the bureau. He was 58. Russert was recording voiceovers for Sunday’s “Meet the Press” broadcast when he collapsed. He was rushed to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, where resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25145431 Current Mood:

Never heard of the guy, but it's sad to die at the age of 58. He wasn't even that old. A deceiver,that's what he was.He had the opportunity to tell people the truth but decided to take it to the grave with him.I have no pity or respect for this political puppet. Oh yeah,the skull & bones question.That's about it.

I'm a little late on this thread.....I was a big fan of Tim and enjoyed watching his show on sunday mornings with a hot cup of coffee he'll sure be missed R.I.P. Tim. Current Mood: _________________ The end of life isn't death; true death can occur only when people forget you!

Yeah he did and was also very fair, even though he was a democrat he never took sides on the show and never pulled punches he was equally tough with all his guest never fearing to ask the hard and uncomfortable questions. [Peace!]

I rarely caught his 'Meet the press' show when it aired, but I would catch clips here and there... I mostly watched him on the Primaries and news coverage about the primries and caucuses . I liked how he would put on blast those politicians who lied or tried to pull a fast one on his show. that was always was entertianing. Obama and McCain sat side by side at the church durring his private funeral service.. Current Mood:
