It must be Hell, to be locked up from birth, live and sleep in feces, be ridden with diseases such as mange, and then have to face the ultimate insult in your life, which is to be slaughtered and fed to some hungry human being, who could care even less about your life as an animal here upon this earth! I am specifically speaking about the fate of the nations farm animals, and how we as intelligent human beings continue, to allow the meat industry to deliberately perpetuate the horrific abuse and mistreatment of them!

Below is the video the meat industry does not want you to see! Are we promoting cruelty to animals by supporting the inhumane meat industry? In this video you will see how animals are not only abused, and destroyed for our consumption, but also how sick, crippled, and even diseased animals are processed for us to eat, "according to the authors of the video!"

* A SAD, PATHETIC, COMMENTARYon the state of humanity in our world. Where did your lunch come from ? (warning !!-it takes balls to watch this film)

I for one will never give up my steaks or burgers with that being said our gov't should enforce industry rules and hold those that violate them accountable through heavy fines and even shutting them down for a period of time. [Peace!]

I used to Balam, but I have been working hard to adapt to a whole different eating lifestyle, after I found out about the abuse farm animals go through. Also the idea that the meat industry is more than willing to feed us ( the consumers ) diseased beef and poultry, is another big reason that I am leaving eating animal flesh behind. Tx_2_Id, you have some wonderful ideas, I just wish that the laws regulating industry rules would be enforced to the max , at least it would be a start. Who knows just how many diseased farm animals are being butchered and their flesh sold mixed up with flesh from other healthier animals?

I know there is really not that much food choices when you eliminate the meat, poultry and fish, but I feel its the best way to to go for me. So more whole grain cereals, rice, beans, pasta, soups, Fruits & Vegetables, etc. Kind of like the stuff that you see below, its going to be interesting to see how this change of direction in diet will affect my body and mind. Supposedly, you feel much better with clearer skin and thinking processes. I also like the idea that I may not have to worry as much about clogged arteries in the future , by following the dietary changes I've made. There is one thing that I may not give up, and thats the pure fish oil (salmon) soft gels, that is because they reduce your chances of stroke or heart attack by 40%. That together with drinking a couple of gallons of Aloe Vera juice once per year to clean out fatty deposits in the arteries, should do nicely.

Eating Smart, Score With Fruits & Vegetables
Most fruits and vegetables can be carried anywhere, and many require little preparation. For added convenience, wash and, if desired, cut fruits and ...
