You ever felt yourself intimidated by someone you really liked but you felt you could not pursue that person because of that person's higher education, profession, social status, and the like? Like if you could not match up in status somehow and not even try and go for it? Current Mood:

no but many have told me that they've felt that bout me, that they felt that they was no good for me and that i would never fijarme en ellos cuz of their economic status, they felt intimidated by me, which i dnt understand why? cuz i may seem a certain way like a bit mean or somethin but the truth is que im very nice, and wont do nothin' to no-one so long as they don't do nothin to me, or ma fam. but yea es what many have told me. Why would someone's social status, profession or whatever intimidate me? They put on jeans just like I do-one leg at a time. Either they speak to me as a person or they don't and I go about my business. I don't worry about matching in status-now have people told me that-yes. Yes, because of my education, and because of my family and the family I married in to-both have done very well for themselves. Why people find me intimidating I have no idea, I'm just me. ^That's right, people tend to forget where they come from, or what the color of their skin is. I want them 'grounded', humorous, loving, with a good head on their shoulders, but not afraid to let go every once in while. Current Mood:

In this day and age, more and more you find carreer minded persons giving up on family, friends, boy/girlfriends and even spouses in search of a profession. For a person like mysself who strives to do better, but yet, I don't go all out in search of constantly trying to get ahead of the pack in the rat race, I do believe that I would find myself intimidated from pursuing someone who is not on the same level as myself. I am more relaxed, and career, education or money is not what drives me. Therefore if I was to find myself with someone who no matter how much that person is receptive to me, I would however not wish to find myself per say in a position where I would have to be constantly upgrading or honing in my skills in the art of money making and whatnot, thus I would more that likely pass on such a person no matter how much I felt for that person at the time. Back in the day there was a girl I really liked, but never did aanything about it because she came from money and I didn't so, I felt like it would never workout even if she did say yes because her family was real snobby.
