Hay everybody here's an update on the murder of my niece Elida(Lelita) Lopez. I had briefed yous on the husband forcing her to stoop over the tub and shooting her in the head...in front of their two children ages 6 and 3.
He shot her dead on Feb 8,2008..she was cremated on Feb 16,2008(as per her desire) from her sharings with family.
Her children are faring well and fortunately time will help in healing their memory of this crime. The most interesting twist to the story is that it pertains directly to the negative effects that the whole INS-DHS-ICE the SOS and all the tools that have surfaced post 9-11. Elida's husband was working on his naturalization and one of his conditions was to not go back into Mexico-at least for whatever grace period his paperworks called for. Well the guy has family (his parents,grandparents bros,sis,cousins,etc)in Mx. His blood is thicker than water as we all know and he went ahead and left to Mx-being forewarned by my niece about the possibility of infringement of his process with naturalization. Upon his return to USA-he is stopped and his papers are taken from him,and he is told to go announce to his wife and children and whatever family and employment ties he has ....that he wil be DEPORTED. Apparently and so the sad story goes elida was upset at him,and she merely mentioned that he better not even think that she would leave here (US) due to his irresponsbility. He went into a rage and the argument escalated-and he killed her. Now this couple was a model little family. They were paying on their modest little home on a ranchett,and they owned their own business. THey were not alcoholics or druggies and they tended to their children-the oldest of the two already in school. The children are now part of the BROKEN family thanks to immigration. The children are now without mom and dad. Our people are hanging themselves they are drowning their children,and they are burrowing themselves deeper into these United States..why are we so laid back? Why are we so complacent? Because it's not our family? The people will begin attempting to cross the desert in a few weeks again through Arizona-many will not make it. But it's not our problem huh? Thanks for listening.
