Ladislao Loera: Cool Hispanic Artist we met!

Postby Bonita in Pink on Fri, Jun 23 2006, 7:08 AM

My husband I went to the "Texas Folklife Festival" here in San Antonio a few weeks ago. And they of course had a ton of booths of people selling stuff. One booth that got my attention out of them all was this booth that had some "Dia de los Muertos" art and stuff. It was so cool... the artist was actually there as well. We talked to him, about his art and he gave us his business card. Turns out he has a website. It's very cool.

Check it out when you have time. I guarantee, you'll fall in love with his stuff. He had a cutting board with the image of a Calavera as "Frida Khalo". I wanted it so bad but we had spent most of our money already. I would have bought it! Anyway... hope you enjoy the link!
