Hey I saw it lastnight... online, LOL. it was alright... based on a true movie so it made a bit more interesting. On a scare of 1 to 10 I would give it a 7... the acting was good. There wasn't your tipical blood shed which was refreshing. just a litle bit of shooting here and there.

You can watch bit of it on this website if you want.... it might have to load up, its slow, but you can get a feel for what the movie is about. or hell, you can watch the whole thing

I think people may get the worng first impression about the movie... Like it's some kind of GoodFellas movie where there is more blood shed then acting. It's not too much like that... so sure, it may be a little borring to some.

It takes place in the early 70's in the middle of the Vietnam war era...
Denzel Washington plays the roll of Frank Lucas. Frank Lucas was a drug lord in Harlem around those times. in those days crooked cops would confiscate drugs, add more shit to it ( make it less potent ) and re sell it back to the streets or back to the drug lords who they conficated from in the first place. Frank Lucas went strait to the source and bought his heroin strait from Vietnam source during the war... he had people smuggle the drugs in dead soldiers coffins from the war. It was organized crime. I probably left out more info, but don't want to spoil it for you guys.

Maybe not the best movie, but the fact that it was based on 'real' events makes it interesting.

The "good cop" in the movie is played by Russell Crowe

Agian, if you want to peak at the full move, cut and paste the URL I posted in my first post of this thread onto your browser.

I wanna see it, I think any movie with Denzel Washington is good, and worth spending my dinero on! And I loved the movie Gladiator, which are the same producers so, Its got to be good...

[font=Comic Sans MS]I'm not even going to bother wasting $10 on a movie that might not end up being good anyway. I just rather watch it on the internet.

That website has the latest movies where you can watch the most recent ones like 30 days of night, american gangster, and saw 4.
