ok i know theres a lot girls on here and im sure u all have nice good looking hair. well, i dont, lol. so i wanted to see if u guys could give me some tips on how to take care of mine. i have really dry, nappy ass hair. i've tried a lot of shit out there but nothing seems to work. if u girls could tell me what u do to urs, or what u use, or how u do it, whatever to have nice, silky hair, if thats the case. im just tired of doing shit and using shit that doesnt work and is just costing me time and money. when it comes to shampoo, right about now if i use any its because i need to wash my hair cuz if its for what they are supposed to do according to what the bottle says, nop, esa no me la creo, shit just doesnt work, or at least what i've tried. I try to change shampoo regularly and products tambien. Right now what has been working for me are the Bed Head products, especially the conditioner! It's a lifesaver! I leave it in for 5 min. about 1-2 times a week. Maybe what your using isn't agreeing w/ your shampoo. Trimming your hair at least once a month helps keep your hair hydrated by getting rid of dried or split ends. We all know the shit we put our hair thru, so maybe try to find a different way to do your hair so it doesn't put so much stress on your hair. Good Luck. [Hmmm]

You know Diana, it's not easy I bet... especially here in the Midwest where there is a lot of Humidity... I now that also has something to do with it. Some shampoos help for that...

thanks girls/guy lol. so here it is, what i do is ill wash my hair as soon as i get home frm work in the morning and go right to sleep with my hair down. by the time i get up around 3ish or so its practically dry except for some spots right on my scalp so by the time im getting ready for work around 9 its completely dry so now i can straighten it with nothing on it and wont wash it for maybe 2 days, depends how lucky i get that time cuz it can get oily within a day and thats just not good looking, i hate it. when i straighten it, it cmes out looking really good, it even looks healthy but it rally aint, i know for sure the ceramic is what makes it look good lol. i've tried using pantene but it makes my hair fall out twice as much and i think im going bald with that so cant go there anymore. about living here in the midwest and all the humidity. ur right, i've seen this on tv, that this is the most complicated place to maintain hair at.... [Rolling Eyes] but man i swear the only reason i use shampoo is because i need to wash my hair cuz if it wasnt for that then i wouldnt and then another thing is that i have to use something for dandruff cuz if i dont then i get that shit and i hate it. so whenever i do try something other than head and shoulders i go back to it once every week and a half since i only wash it every other day or maybe a day longer. well alright, thank u for the advice ill see what i can look for at the store

Don't give up, because I'll tell you know that I've found out that as we get older, and our hormones do different things, our hair does strange things tambien. As if we don't have enough. [Hmmp!] Just try different ones. You know I've noticed several people tell me that the ceramic makes their hair break more easily after a while. I guess it just depends on how often you use it and your hair type. [Hmmm] Like I said, Bed Head is the only thing I've found that'll work. I've thought about trying Matrix, just to see how it works with my hair. My hair is so dang straight [] [Laughing] Hang in there. [Thumbs up]

Since this I've been ready to pull my hair out. I colored my hair and it screwed it up!! The color didn't last long, but it left it feeling wirey, tanglely-I don't know how to describe it. I'm thinking about going to cut it, and probably alittle shorter than I normally do, probably about shoulder length, right now I have it all about mid-back. I've been trying to use as little products as possible, but it's driving me up the wall!! [Pounding fists!] I tried Matrix, but that didn't agree with my hair at all, which sucked! [Laughing] [Pounding fists!] [Pounding fists!]
