Hola gente... this will be the 'ANYTHING CHRISTMAS' thread Share with us anything about X-MAS - such as plans, photos, chit-chatter, Traditional things you do... anything to do with Christmas. I really do not enjoy the snow, but honestly, it sets the Christmas sipirit and I can not imagine Winter without it. I especially like how when the trees look like glass at night because of the forming ice. Current Mood:

^ yup, the trees do look nice after a blizzards gone by. for me this year will be the 1st christmas ever i spend without my parents or my brother. we have always been together for that day but this year they have moved away to utah and they left me all by myself i basically have no family of my own here, well una tia y una prima pero nada que ver, i dont talk to them. my only family is my husbands side which yea los quiero but its just not the same u know. well, i hope things change and that my family gets to come over here but i dont know, things dont look so good, and i know for sure i more than likely cant go over there. i hope everyone on juarol gets to spend it with the people they love for us that cant do the same. everyone have a good christmas and send me a present, no sean gachos lol _________________ numeros para las cuentas la mano para el amigo caricias para las hombres balas pa' los enemigos

I wonder what I'm going to make! I only have some presents to get que me falta! I cant wait to take LOTS of pictures, were having it at my moms house and we eat, wait, people get drunk, and at 12:00pm open gifts, we dont go to chruch. I went one year it was so pretty pero pues nobody ever wants to go! Maybe this year we will go! Sometimes I wish I could go to mexico during this time, they sure know how to celebrate and party, its soooooooo pretty! Some year I'll have to keep wishing! WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING FOR XMAS? HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE HERE I got a chance to witness snow when I visisted familia in Colorado! wish our christmases were filled with snow. It rarely snows here, so we really don't get to see any, it just gets really, really cold!! All my family gathers at one house after church and eat and just talk about whatever, drink, but everyone is good about not getting out of control. We make chile colorado, ham, taters, tamales, tortillas, cookies, fudge, salad, dips-I know there's more I just can't think of them now. Christmas day we gather again, usually at mom and dad's and let the kids open their gifts and spend the day together. Sometimes the day after we go out of town, mainly down South. We're a small family and don't gather with our extended family, they've never really existed for us. It's cool though! Current Mood:

Anyone here got's thier christmas tree up? I wont be messing with one this year... not that I ever have. Too much hassle! [Pounding fists!]

Here's a pic I took recently at my Parents backyard... The ground still looks about the same... It rained like it was spring time the other day.. but for the most part, it's been pretty cold.

Man all that food sounds great. I am for sure going to be at my parents for Christmas...

The tree and lights go up after graduation, right now I just don't have the time. Ugh! I did manage to post a couple of pictures in my personal gallery of some snow and the parade, will post more later. Current Mood:

Well, I got about a whole week off and my husband and I are going to New York City. My husband was born and raised in Qweens before he came here to Mihcigan as a teenager. So i will definately take a lot of photos!!!! Im super excited! Current Mood:

Yes, he gets his knee operated on the 20th of December, its a torn cartilege. We leave to New York on the 23rd. Its only a 11 hour drive and we stay at his sisters house in Jersey Christmas Icons Myspace Icons Current Mood:
