High School

What is/was it like for you?

Right now, High school is ok, besides the fact that I lost my best friend because theres only 2 High Schools in my town, so and I go to Central (Home of the Bobcats) and she goes to Lake View (Home of the Chiefs) and were rival schools!! But other than that, life at Central isnt so bad. Its ALOT LESS drama rama than at LV. Ugh...I thought High School was suppose to be the best years of our lifes?? What's up with that?

Hey, you're not too far from me!! Just a couple hours drive from Odessa. Geez, I haven't been to San Angelo in some time. Has that place changed or grown?? :jumm:

High School is what you make it, so make the best of it! Surely there's stuff going on in Angelo, I know those ppl can party out!! :whistle:

Well, Highschool for me was fun pero now that I look back I wish I did things different. Me and my friends skipped alot---I mean alot, to where I lost credit and stuff! Then, we would fight with people, which at the time we thought we were bad ass, which we really werent! Pero, all in all, just make sure when you are making ur choices, you ask yourself what your going to think about it in 10 years and remember High School, is really the start for mapping out your life!

I don't know how I even survived those years. I was in football in my Freshman and Sophmore years... those were some real good times! My first car... first 'real' relationship.. my lord what a time.

Of all the things I remember about that period in my life, I would say it's the faces I met and the experiences and knowledge they brough to me. Sure there was always drama... but such is life and you'll more likely deal with it throughout your life.

At times High School was such a blur... but that's probably because of all the Mary Jane :jumm:

uuuuuuuuu... man those were the days for me!! when i was in school, i wish i wasnt so we would skip alot, yea like erica said, A LOT. now that im out i wish i could go back and make things better. y tambien como dijo pedro sometimes it was a blur for the same reason, sometimes felt like throwing up on teachers :.vomitar.:

<-- u know what the means. for 5 de mayo all the mexicans would skip and do some party, my house got hit twice when that time came around, oh man, that was crazy, couldnt even walk around my house cuz there was so many of us skipping there. i got into a few fights, got suspended for fighting and skipping, got saturday school a few times but never showed up. in the middle of one fight i hit a teacher, pos pa que se metia el wey. my senior year was he easiest because i made sure from 9th to 11th i got all my credits in so i could kind of slack around and so i did plus at the time i had to be working cuz i had to pay rent and other things cuz thats when i got kicked out so i would go to school half day then go to work, i was lucky to get into co-op cuz it made working so much easier since i didnt have be in school the whole day for that matter. now i did graduate on time, i got my diploma, i wasnt that bad i guess. i did think about droping out but thats wheni was in 10th grade but i didnt. school, just like life, is what u really make of it, so i dont suggest u make ur school time all crazy and start thinking of giving up on it because if u really put ur head into it u will feel better about urself. hang out with friends when u can, dont just stick to school, have some fun once in a while, no te amargues cuz it aint gonna be fun.

Shit San Angelo aint the same no more. We were on semi lock down today because there was rumors going around that Central was going to get shot up by the guys who murdered my homeboy Randy. Its alot of fucking drama right now, because my homeboy Randy was murdered by Southside 25 and that made SS25 not claim their set anymore, and the guys who did it are trying to blame it on a 15 year old who is another one of my homeboys for killing Randy. And the rumors said They were gonna shoot up the school either today between classes or after school (Because EVERYBODY hangs out in the front) or Friday. They caught 2 people with knifes tryna do something to somebody, but Im not really sure on that. Its alot right now. San Angelo aint quiet and nice like it use to be.

uh w3ll im asenior in high school and i got o a lame ass high school....and its hella strict and gay..u get in trouble for da stupidest thingz..pero dam its harda shell for me this year...my summer was crazy so i came to school wit a negative attitude..started skipping and argiung wit los ppl and sckool...and didnt care so much about my school work.its almost the second semester and im doing alil better but still failing two of my classes..and not sure if i will graduate cuz i missed so many days dat i might not have enough credits..so i was thinkning about jus droopin out cuz i heard dat at my school.like 3 days b 4 graduation they told sum students they were not able to graduate and shit if dat happens to me im going to be hella pissed...p3ro i hop3 i do graduat3 thouhg..i jus cant wait to g3t d dah3lll up outta h3r3...

[font=Comic Sans MS] Hijole, high school was so long ago. I used to be the quiet type of nerd in the back playing with my game boy, I was pretty shy I hardly talked to anyone. Those were just my freshman and sophmore years. Then when I was a junior I was all into that "cholito era" kicking it with them cholos trying to impress people, basically trying to fit in and after I dropped out I realize that was just stupid. I did come out of my shell and I opened up to more people, I wasn't known as the "nerd in the corner" anymore, but as the "wannabee cholo". After my junior year I flunked, and stayed in 11th, still acting like a dumbass...got more involved, and ditched all the time, smoked weed...bad influences around me I guess. After that I dropped out because of my laziness, but I went back a year ago and finished.
