im sure many of u hve seen those commercials of people trying to convince to join their company or whatver for u to work from home, be ur own boss, and earn as much as $5,000 a week, just plain ol "it doesnt get any better than this" type of thing u know. i've been curious about these things but just never really done any of it because im scared this people will ask for money for some sort of kit or whatever it is that i would need and then in the end they got my money, didnt even start working with them, and no money back or didnt even start making money at all, im afraid of it not working out at all.

so has anyone tried any of these things?? if u have, what is it and how does it work? is it worth it? is it working out for u?

It's kind of difficult to even trust those commercials, when I read or hear about them they just seem too good to be true, and like they say..."If it's too good to be true, then you're probably right". It would be nice to make money from your own home without having to go through traffic, wasting gasoline, etc.

But if you get a gut feeling that this isn't such a good idea, then stick with that.

[Cool] I have studied business management, and marketing, and I am starting my own business. You have to be very careful, because there are a lot of people who make money off of selling business opportunities on learning how to work from home, that don't Work!

http://www.friendsinbusiness.c.....alog.shtml

Lesson #1 BUSINESS: All true business involves selling " marketing," either a service, or a product. For example if I were to go and mow somebody's lawn then I am providing a service. If I go to school and learn how to fix lawn equipment, then open my own repair shop, I am providing a service, but if I also sell lawn equipment, then its both a service and a products business. I once knew a 70 year old Chicano lady that went to college and now does alterations and fixes clothing from her home, and she now makes plenty of money! Question: What type of business does she have product, service or both? The correct answer is service business. (Hypothetical situation) A Guy named Boom Boom, goes around selling fake jewelery, & cheap watches, to any fool who will listen," so is he selling products, or a service? Answer He is selling "cheap dreams!" Ha! I got you on that one! From now on everywhere you go, in your mind decide whether a business is selling products, service, or both.

Lesson #1 in Business is from my future Biz website, in this website, I will teach people how to really work from home & make money, and also how to start their own small business.LOL! [Rosa]

Well. Sometimes if its too good to be true it usually is. I remember more than a few years ago i saw this thing online, get paid to fill out surveys and work from home jumbo. I was dumn enouph to pay the 39 or 49 dollar fee and it led to nothing. It gave me access to web sights and more web sights untill i had to send a post card in order to get a 'brochere" of busniess that want your business for a fee. It was a scam! [Pounding fists!] i was scammed [Hmmp!]

[Cool] No making money out of your own home is real, I know several people (all Raza) who started their own business here in San Antonio and are averaging from $300.000 to $500.000 per year. I too would have thought it was not true if not for my grandparents who came from Mexico (very poor), worked, saved up their money and then bought a small grocery store, which they owned for 46 years. It just depends on your focus, and what you want to achieve in life. Now with the social security system expected to go bankrupt in the future, adults have to be really careful what they choose to do with their futures! Here in San Antonio you have a lot of Raza, starting a small business of their own, while many of the younger Chicanos are going for careers such as nursing, and many other high paying professions. Nevertheless small business is thriving, especially among Women and Hispanics. Even teenagers are becoming wealthy. Mr Ramos had a very small grocery store, I asked him one day how much he made per year and he replied that he made around $300.000 per year in profit. He later sold the business to take care of his sick wife, and what allowed him to do this was that he owned the little store. If he hadn't he would have had to work and still take care of his sick wife in his old age. Here are a few links about small business success and one about social security. I also had a story about a little boy who painted and sold rocks, because his mother was sick and he didn't have a father, and yes he became a millionaire. I tried pasting the link but it would not work, please try to search using google for this article: eBook Success Lessons From Teenage Millionaires!By Ellen Violette. It is really cool!LOL!

[Cool] Yes, or do something everybody needs, I once met a lady who told me that she cleans houses like this in this link, she told me she charged $40 per two hours of work.

http://www.employment911.com/c.....ouses.aspx

A lawn mowing business makes money also, for example: One person (4) yards per day at $75.00 per yard = $300.00 per day x 5 days = $1,500.00 per week. With 52 weeks in a year x $1,500.00 per week = $78,000.00 per year. And yes I know women who own their own lawn mowing business. One started with a pickup, a lawnmower, and a weed eater and her heart and she is a rich lady now here in San Antonio. A great lady, in my book because she had faith in herself!

Everybody chooses what they want in life, I just wish I had snapped sooner, instead of wasting 35 years to finally realize that by working for someone else, all I was doing was making someone else rich! Kind of like when you rent an apartment or a house, you rent for 10, 15, 20 years and help the owner pay for his house, and then anytime he wants to get rid of you he can, because its his house. When if one had spent that money on buying a house in the first place, you pay it off and its yours, no one can kick you out of it ever, unless you don't pay your taxes, or the property gets taken away through eminent domain proceedings. Besides when you work for someone else you always get told what to do.They also control how much money you make, and in the end, when they don't need you, or want you working there anymore, they just fire your a..,not caring at all if you don't have a place to stay, bills to pay, or something to eat! been there, & done that. So for me it will definitely be my own business someday!LOL!
