........Have any of u ever heard that song by pretty ricky??? age aint nothing but a number??? okay well Im 17 and I been Dating a boy who is 16.....Well when i was 16 we starting datin he told me he was 16, later do I find out hes 15...LOL..He looks like hes 18..newayz..i finally turned 17 and then two months later he turned 16...We been dating for about 6 months..with a couple make up and break ups..sum of my freinds be like dam mija u need to drop him, he a lil boy....and they say im blinded by love and shit and i cant see that he cant treat me right.pero I think he do..pero newayz...SUm ppl say i shouild get sum one older and they say its wierd how he younger than me pero shit i dont care..well i mean I obvouisly think dat truly age isnt nothing but a number....so what do you guys think????IS it more than a number???

I see it the same way, to me age is nothing but a number. I been with my girl for about 5 months and she is 4 years younger than me. She is 16, and I'm 20, anyways. The point is, if you're happy with him, and if you truly love him then it shouldn't matter how old he is. I can understand if the guy was like in his 30's and you were 15, obviously (it's not right), but in your situation, it really shouldn't be a problem.

i think your friends are just plain and simple jealous. He is really not that much younger than you. As long as you respect and enjoy each others company who cares what anyone else thinks!

First things first, "Age ain't nothing but a number" is an Aaliyah cut. I know you're from todays generation, but her version is most likely much better. I'll admit I haven't heard the PR number, but from what I've heard of them, they're pretty garbage. Secondly, you're only 17, what in the heck do you need a boyfriend for? Concentrate on finishing high school and focus on your future in college. Having a boyfriend that young and being in "love" will only lead to one thing, an unwanted pregnancy.
