I was watching Crowned w/my daughters yesterday and being that I have a lot of time to think on my walk home I remembered something on their that I wanted to see what you all thought. The mother/daughter teams had to discuss a subject/topic in front of a crowd on their thoughts and explain their answer. One of the topics was "Do you think nice people always finish last?" Enter your choice on the poll and then explain your answer... After a few responses i'll give my reasoning on why i chose no... Current Mood:

In the work environment, nice guys seldom take an opprotunity to stab someone in the back to advance a spot or two. They usually fit the "team player" mode and hope beyond hope that someone, somewhere will take notice of them and promote them because they are such a hard worker. Being such a team player makes them valuable to the opprotunistic ladder climbers as the "team players" labor can be used to get them where they want to be.

i don't think they finish last cause if you think about it at the end of your life when you are old and sitting on a rocking chair the nice guys can look back and think of all the things they have acomplished and have no regrets and nothing to be sorry about. as for the lying and deceiving their going to always have some skeletons in their closet Current Mood:

they finish last because more treacherous people will lie/cheat/steal/fight their way to the top...but being at the top, one can get very lonely...especially if you've burned all your bridges.
