either I can get a monitor....OR
buy a flat screen tv and get a hook up for it.
but tv's are more expensive :P (atleast the ones i would want)
AND my laptop is my main computer right now.
That's my next goal: a plasma TV, but that's a ways off.
And I dont want to spend more than $1,000.
I don't watch that much TV to justify spending anymore than that.

I would, but it's already promised to someone else. :jumm:
Sorry.

I personally am running my computers on 2 22" flat panel monitors...damm does it help when working on AutoCAD....makes your working area so much bigger....even surfing the web is a big difference...pages look so much easier to read.....Any sizr flat panel monitor would be a great addition to any computer.... :Vaquero:

I've been wanting a flat screen monitor like that too. I still have the old clunky, space-hogging type at home..

They're pretty cheap now.
A co-worker got me that 15" flat screen about two years ago for about $100 on the 'net.
Now you can get some new 19" flat screens for under $200.

You'll love it and believe me, you'll notice the difference- the pictures are crisper and the detail is nicer-good choice!!!
