The Official "Ask A Gringo" Thread

Postby Went on Fri, Feb 08 2008, 2:20 AM

I feel as though we should open up the lines of communication and learn about one another.

So, feel free to ask about anything you want, and I'll answer honestly. I might not be here often, but I'll do what I can.

I personally think it depends on how creative they are about getting in. If they just hop a fence and run over, that's not all that spectacular. In that case, I'd say they do not pass "Go" and do not collect their $200.

Now, if they're taking the time to dig underground tunnels, or hiding inside of giant pinatas, that shows ingenuity and we're all about that. I say "Welcome."

Along the same lines:

I have a bit of a crush on Salma Hayek (sp?). So, whatever it takes to get more of her here, legal or illegal, so be it.

[font=Comic Sans MS]Ahh, okay so only the immigrants who become creative in entering the country illegally are okay with you?

Sounds fair, lol.

Yeah, I think that's the biggest problem most people have with it is that they just get tired of hearing the same ol' same ol' on the news. The same statistics, the same methods, etc.

You have to jazz it up a little and keep things exciting, or we'll turn on you.

The Salma Stipulation remains in effect, though. If they look like her, they can come right in to the V.I.P. section.

Well, I'd say that no matter who hits the ground first, we all win.

Because anyone willing to jump off of a cliff to see if they hit the ground first is a moron.

That being said, whoever jumped first would hit the ground first. Unless the "Carlos" is Carlos Mencia. He'd get shoved off before anyone else.

ASK A GRINGO, ORALE PUES.

How come US CHICANO RAZA BORN AND RAISED IN THE LAND

"CAN'T HAVE OUR OWN HOLIDAYS MADE OFFICIAL?"

If our people were here long before the gringo arrived, and we had language, cultura, festivals and a rich heritage, and if we are equals under the law, and we are citizens of the land, and we a Americans . . Then why can't America allow us the respect of languague, festivals and "official" Raza holidays?

Well, for the first half of your question: I would say the "Move your feet, lose your seat" rule comes into play here.

As for the second half: Think of it like Kevin Bacon's character in Footloose. He moved into the new town and was a resident of it, but that doesn't mean he gets to change the way they do things.

In the end, he did, but it took a lot of flashy dance moves. My advice would be to start with learning the entire dance scene at the end of that movie.

By the time Raza learns up on the entire dance, there won't be no Raza left!

They would of turned a different Race, and dance to a different tune, get me?
