when i was in school i would have the chef salad that they call it. it has ham, cheese, those little pieces of bread, i forgot what they are called. with some ranch it was good

My husband makes this Spanish style salad its really good and healthy.

Boston lettuce leaves, olive oil, Vinegar, lemon, roma tomatoes and salt and pepper. Its great I love it whole bunches!

I love Chicken Ceaser Salads....

grilled chicken, parmasean cheese, carrots, tomatoes, romian lettuce, curtons, and ceaser dressing....YUMMMY.... :paz:

WHAT ABOUT SOME OTHER TYPES OF ENSALADAS, LIKE ENSALADA DE PAPAS, ENSALADA DE MARISCOS, ENSALADA DE MACARRONI, ENSALADA DE POLLO. QUE MAS? WHAT ABOUT SPECIAL ENSALADA RECEPIES? YOU KNOW, LIKE ENSALADAS WHERE YOU MIX UP TUNA WITH SOME MAYO, APIO, CEBOLLA Y TOMATE PICADO, MAYBE ADD SOME CORN AND WHALLA, THERE YOU HAVE IT, READY TO EAT WITH SOME GALLETAS SALADAS OR IN A SANDWICH. MAYBE EVEN EN TOSTADAS CON SALSA PICANTE, TABASCO O TAPATIO.

i love this ensalada de papa que hace mi suegra. lleva huevo cosido picado, apio, mayonesa, mostasa al gusto, and of course papas, lol.

i do that tuna salad, i use ham, cheese, sometimes lettuce, pasta, corn, tomato, chile, cebolla, limon, con tostadas...mmmm so good. add some salsa verde. this is even better with that ensalada de papa que mencione....... i had planned to make this tomorrow btw. :blushing:

In my ensalada de papa I use everything like normal....but, the only thing I do is add alil pickle juice and pickles.... :turu:

I make a fruit salad too in the summer with all the summer fruits but I put a yogort dressing which has yogort and honey, lemon juice...YUMMY...just pour over the top and your good to go.---I forgot to add, I also top it with toasted coconut sometimes and add nuts... :wink:

^ yea, its got a lot of different stuff on it, but i dont know if it would be a salad, i just know it as a postre :jumm:

theres also ensalada de pollo. pollo desmenusado con mayonesa, y verduras, i dont remember exactly how i've had it.
