Under-the-skin ID chips

Postby Balam99 on Sat, Mar 15 2008, 12:03 AM

The chip is an ID tag, Fulcher emphasized. When a person with an embedded chip passes near a scanner, the dormant chip simply wakes up and issues an ID number. The administrator of the security systems and databases determines how the information is used. A person has to stand within a few feet of a scanner for the tag to wake up. Thus, the tags can be used to follow someone's steps only when they are near scanners. The company's hand scanners can ping chips about 12 inches away, although the devices for counting salmon are 10 to 12 feet away from the fish.

Also, VeriChip is working on an implant that will contain a Global Positioning System. Such a device would allow an individual with a scanner to pinpoint someone's position on the globe.

It's dangerous... but can be useful, for example, if it can help find a missing child with in hours instead of years or never...

Is it the mark of the beast-I don't know, but I do believe it is a step toward it. I believe it is part of what they call Big Brother. Why do they need to know you're every move? I don't like it. :no.

Somewhere I read that several Governments have been working on developing a system that will eventually require "all" newborns to be implanted with such a chip. It will be used in the widest of fields, like to track your medical history and your whereabouts every day of your life, as is the case with such tracking devices like the one you mentioned. The way things work today is more like everytime you use your credit card, it is registed in an information bank which is then used to try and sell you products. The same with a simple supermarket savings card that when you use it, the supermarket corp is in cahoouts with a larger chain of marketters and manufacturers who will bombard your mail box with weekly sale especials and so forth. Your cell phone is another tracking device, and there is technology available that can track you down virtually anywhere in the world through your cell phone. It works just the same like that GPS in your car or lo-jack. Keep in mind that your medical records are private now and can only be accessed by third parties only with your permission. There is loopholes and insurance carriers for one, would love to get "all" your medical records, not just those pertaining to a lawsuit. Imagine if they were able to access your data, imagine if the big G could keep track of you every moment of your life, not just when you check out a library book, not just when you get on an airplane, not just when you're booked for a misdemeanor or a felony, but be able to trace your steps and your wereabouts 24/7/365, not only that, but big G would know all about you, and I mean everything ~> including what Church you go to. Think about it a little. You may say, ahh that's not going to happen and if it does, so what? I ain't doing nothing wrong. But just dwell a little bit more on it and see just how much of a meaningless matrix of a world we might find yourself living one day, if your whole liberties and freedoms can be taken from you by a heartless technological advanced society that is under complete control.

Thanks for putting up that vid., very informative.

For now the chip is just voluntary but it will eventually become mandatory.

i heard on tv of people using these chips in mexico, en el DF. main reason is for security. people want them in case of kidnapping, since there is so much of that going on over there.
If you get a chance, take it.
