It seems no matter what good Mexican-Americans have done,or will do for this great country of ours,there will always be those who refer to us as "mojados." Old racist ways don't die easily either,as is demonstrated by this recent incident in central Texas.

Note: The reason I posted this story is because some "Raza," is under the misconception,that when they hear a racist person call someone by the derogatory term "wetback," they are referring only to,"people from Mexico that cross the border illegally," but this is not so! This is instead a sly way of disparaging,degrading,and insulting all Mexican-Americans,by all the while hiding themselves, behind a veneer of hypocritical self-righteousness!

I agree! It's stupid how ignorant people are. Just b/c we're Mexican-American or any other race at that, doesn't automatically make us criminals. Instead of paying attention (and negative attention at that) to those trying to better themselves and the lives of their loved ones, they need to pay attention to the real criminals out there killing people, the rapists, the child molesters & kidnappers, everything!!!!!!! The stupid ass war in Iraq and how our economy is pretty jacked up right now. to me it's frustrating, even though older people have a different mind set because of how their raised, it's just some fu**ed up ish...
