Thinking about your question I remember something my parents have told us many times and agree -an education is the best thing you can get-how you use it is up to you, but never forget, what you learn is yours, and no one can take it from you-remember that. People will treat you how you let them. If you disagree with how politicians are running things then maybe it's your call to do something-you know I met a chemistry teacher who always use to tell people "IF YOU DON'T VOTE THEN DON'T COMPLAIN" voting is how we change things-they don't always change how we would like them to, but your vote is your voice. If for you it isn't enough then get out and get involved-in your school, and in your community, there are alot of ways WE can change things and often times peacefully-believe it or not. First of all, the definition of 'slave' is someone who works without getting paid. This doesnt exisit in the United States anymore, and it was abolished a long time ago ;)
IMO, we are NOT victims in this country. Only you can bring yourself down. The color of my skin or my surname does not limit our possibilties.
Maybe its not the latino community that is being denied of rights but rather people who are not legal in this country, respectfully, they should ask that to the country where they are leaving if they are being denied and treated poorly. Just a little something to ponder....

ok thank you all i appreciate everyone giving me answers but i mean i cant really think of a way to word all of these but n.e.howz i been doing a lil research here and there and well i happened to find myself with this website name mexica-movent.org(you guys should check it out) and well here's a little bit of what they have on there.....(they also dont refer to themselves as latino, chicano, hispanic etc.) Our Words confront the racist interpretations and the devaluing of our Anahuac history, culture, identity, and our rights to our land and our continent. We say invasion, not discovery. We say stolen continent, not America. We say cultural castration, not assimilation. We say Genocide, not Western expansion. We say racial rape, not mestizaje. We say theft, murder, racism and slavery, not capitalism. We say they give us no choice for liberation with their democracy, not in a democracy where the only choice is to vote for treason against our people, or to contribute to the Genocide of our people. We know that most of our people speak in ignorance and cowardice. We know that on the one hand false words can enslave us to our selfish interests and that on the other hand true knowledge words can liberate all of our people. We choose venerable Anahuac knowledge for our complete liberation. We choose the words and actions of Anahuac education for our people as a means for the total liberation of our people. Our Actions confront traitors and the enemies of our people. We do this with pickets, protests, demonstrations, press releases, website pages, fliers, and outreach into our communities everywhere. We take our actions with the pride of knowing that we are defending our people and confronting the enemies of our people. We know that no one else is aggressively teaching our Pre-European Anahuac history and the crimes of the Europeans, and that no one else is confronting this Genocide of our people, or remembering the holocaust that killed 33 million of our people, that killed 95% of our people on this our continent and that put us in our present enslaved condition to the occupying European forces. We know that only our enemies' words of ignorance and cowardice are what we encounter with our day to day and years of actions against the Hispanic/Latino agenda, against the distortions and destruction of Chicano Studies, against media racism, against institutional racism, and against the traitors who spit on and attack our Anahuac heritage. We also know that if we had not taken our actions of education and confrontation that our present condition would be even worse. Our Philosophy confronts the Eurocentric passive â€œspiritualityâ€ and â€œenergyâ€ movement. This "spirituality"-energy movement accommodates colonialism by adopting New Age religion and passing it off as authentic Nican Tlaca Mexica Anahauc theology. We confront this fraud at its empty Christianity core and its treasonous Eurocentric rituals. These New Age fools use individualismâ€™s selfishness and the â€œIndianâ€ movies theatrics to fulfill irrelevant selfish ego desires and the cowardly goals of personal pleasures in a Las Vegas prima donna act that tries to pass itself off as "Indigenous" awareness. Mexica Movement philosophy starts with study of all sources of our history (codices, archeology, linguistics, carbon 14 dating, journals, and other sources). We re-interpret and re-translate the significance of our ancestorsâ€™ worldview. We analyze the impact of the European invasion-occupation of our continent and the Genocide-enslavement of our people, and we work to undo the crimes and the damage done by those crimes. We do no public â€œsacred ritualsâ€ or dance for the entertainment of tourists or for the ignorant and "Christian" feelings of our own people. We also do no â€œritualsâ€ or dance theatrics for people who know nothing of our theology. We do no unearned Lakota sweatlodges or Mexica temazcalli. We do not dishonor our ancestors by mocking them with our ignorance in doing any such unearned warrior rituals or other "priestly" rituals. There are no Anahuac warriors alive today who have earned warrior rituals. We do the work of warriors by confronting the enemies of our people. We do the work of venerables by guiding with studied knowledge. Or we take guidance from venerables. We do the work of liberators by learning, teaching, writing, and confronting the ignorance of our people and the enslaved condition of our people. We give meaningful significance to the existence of our people with the knowledge, words, actions, and guidance of the Mexica Movement. We are respectful of our ancestors by working to earn honor by our warrior actions and our venerable actions. We are dedicated to the liberation of Anahuac by using our disciplined actions of learning and teaching our heritage and by our non-violent educational confrontational approach to the liberation of our people and our continent. We reject the Marxist-Che or Capitalist-opportunist approaches that enslave our people to European dead-end ideologies. We reject the cowardice and ignorance status quo. We reject the traitors and the vendidos. There is only one Mexica Movement. Do not accept copycats, exploiters, bullshiters, intellectual masturbators, "spirituality" masturbators, or â€œrevolutionaryâ€ posers who claim that they are part of the Mexica Movement!
