With all the talk about credit cards these days there must be a lot of debt out there. Here is some interesting reading on the subject. Whats strange about zombie debt this is when a consumer decides to settle on an old debt, after the statue of limitations has expired. The statue of limitations begins ticking again,and then the person can be sued for the full debt,even if they tried to retire the old debt! Important Note:Be sure and check with the Attorney General of your own state for your specific rights against rogue debt collectors.
