my parents used to puck vicks on my patas and chest cuando tenia gripa
if my stomach would hurt, they'd say drink a sprite
when i had ear infections they would do something with garlic on a cottonball and put it in my ear
when i got stung by bees they'd say put some mud on it

wierd stuff that actually works

Drink manzanilla to calm you, to help you go to sleep. Drink boldo for UTI or kidney aches. Vicks, yeah, I think all of had our parents do that. I won't lie I still use it when I get sick.

Well, I know a couple, you guys may laugh but they do work! Here goes....

Boiling cilantro, and drink the water to fall asleep.

Boiling oregano, and drink the water to cure a cough and flem.

Put vicks everywhere to cure the flu.

Rubbing an egg all over your body while saying a prayer to cure ojo, then place the cracked egg in a glass of water on something red. (this works good)

Drinking manzanilla with honey and limon for sore throats. (this works good)

those are just a couple......
