Company's like GM had a system going since the 60's that was working fine for them up until recently. Cant remember wich US automaker person is was. But it was someone in the top command, laughing about the idea of Hybrid cars... that it would never sell... now look what they're doing.

American way of life is not negotiable. If they feel so strongly about it,why don't they build a massive resistance force?
What hurts the most is that our wages here in the US arent increasing so while our wages are low prices are rising across the board.
Stop complaining and organise a survival group.

As the dollar loses value the gas prices will go up.

Sorry i am not exaclty good at debating with one liners here so all i can say about your sentences is that you not only missed the articles point, you missed why I was argueing over it. BTW, fuck gas prices!

“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.” –Emerson

"In the U.S., meanwhile, oil use is up 21% over the same period, although the country has added more people and seen its economy grow slightly faster."

"Americans have taken advantage of cheap gas prices to do other things - like buy bigger cars and bigger houses further away from city centers, said Schipper. "

"On a per capita basis, Americans use three times more oil than Europeans, he said. That means Americans are more exposed to rising gas prices than their counterparts across the Atlantic."

"We dug our hole."

I guess I missed this part huh.

lol@ you thinking were debating, when all your doing is complaining about shitty taxes and how the government is screwing you. What I was basically saying in my very short sentences is that you need to stop looking for solutions from false entity i.e., the government and wake the phuck up to the fact you and I are the problem. And again the devalued dollar is part of the reason for high prices..

It's all about control,ownership,and money.
