Elmo,if I were you,and if there are plenty of yards to do in your neighborhood, I would buy a lawn mower . Mowing a yard can be done very fast and you would be working for yourself! Here in San Antonio, a small yard can make you $25 $35 or $45 at least, with guys charging up to $70 and more for large yards. Small ones take less than one hour to do, of course you may need a good lite gas weed eater, and an electric blower to do a yard right. I know one young guy who used to push his mower around the neighborhood, and made $50 to $100 per day in just a couple to a few hours! Note: once you get a regular customer base set up of about 30 to 60 customers you will never have to worry about money again. In winter yard work slows down, but their is always landscaping work and other stuff to be done,if you learn how to do it. If your going to work for a company I would recommend that you go to work for a lawn mowing and landscaping company so you can learn this stuff expertly! Like I said, doing this kind of work is easy and can make you $$$$ independent, its also fun to do once you learn it! This will allow you to go to school whenever you wish also! But the really great thing about this type of work is that once you learn it correctly, you can get rich by starting your own small business someday, and having a crew out cutting yards and making you $$$$,while you kick back and watch Novelas! Good Luck!
