DID YOU EVER PARTICIPATE IN THE DANZAS?......LIKE THE DANZA DE LOS MATACHINES,(SOLDADOS DE LA VIRGEN).......... I NEVER GOT TO DO IT IN THE CHURCH, BUT AT 8 YEARS OLD I WAS ONE OF THE BESTS IN THAT MATACHIN DANZA, I HAD MY FEATHERS AND SHIT, PERO IT SUCKS WE LEFT MY RANCHO...... SO HAVE YOU DONE ANY DANZAS? Hmmm-oh no mexican influence in schools was a big no-no when I was small. You would get into alot of trouble for not speaking english. Going to have to check and read about this. Current Mood:

you mean danzantes such as the aztec dancers cuando salen en el dia de la Guadalupana we do it down here tenemos la procesion where we walk en las calles con la virgen de guadalupe y luego regresamos a la iglesia yeah celebramos eso nosotros aqui but i never been part of it though Current Mood:

oh by the way lil kids get all dressed up de Juan Diego with their guarachez and their lil bandana or this i dont know the name of it this cloth that has the image of la virgen de guadalupe, my sister cada año viste a mis sobrinitos de juan diego's its pretty cool luego la antorcha guadalupa de mexico viene aqui y luego se va para washington o new york Current Mood:
