INEXPENSIVE DSL!

Postby fsolis on Tue, Jun 10 2008, 5:33 PM

 I am about to finish my contract with Earthlink for DSL. I have had them for one year and its been good, I paid $12.95 for six months and then $29.95 for the last six months for 1500 kbps DSL service. But now i am going to try a new company, and their prices for high speed internet DSl are great, so I am going to check them out! At $14.95 to $29.95 for Dsl from 768Kbps to 6000kbps. So I just thought I would share this with my Raza, In case anyone wants to hook up! I am going for the 3000kbps at $19.95 a month with a one year contract, and you can hook up more than one P.C.

That's not bad at all. I think that the download speeds can very depending if you have a slow computer, for example.. you might not see a whole lot of difference while browsing. with downloading files you may see a faster difference. hope you got an upto date PC!

 Your absolutely right Pete, my last computer had a 500mhz processor, and I did not notice much difference browsing with the Dsl, but downloading and uploading files and music was cool. Also the fact that it would not cut off was great! Nothing worse than being in the middle of an online final exam, and then have the darned thing disconnect right in the middle! When I used to have 56k dialup as my primary connection to the internet, everything sucked because it would cut off. Also I could not upload, and downloading took forever. But when I got the 1500 kbps dsl everything became pretty cool on my old computer. But now, I can't wait to get the 3000 kbps for $19.95, especially with my new pc. I just bought a Hp dual core Pavillion a6400 Pc with 500 Gig's storage, 3 Gig's memory, upgradeable to 8 Gig's, in case I wish to go with 64 bit software someday. I really wanted a Quad core but this will have to do until next April, then hopefully I'll get me a Quad.
