These days you just never know the truth about other peoples lives, and most of us see only the facade of what other people want us to see,and usually not much else. If your a person who is very responsible about engaging in risky behavior, then you do not much to worry about. But how about the people around us who do engage in risky behavior? How can this affect us? How about the ones who like to share straws to snort drugs? Can they catch a serious disease from doing so? Or how about the people who after a few drinks are willing to engage in unprotected sex? Well, it would seem most people should know better, but there are a few people out there it would seem, who don't know or even care about the basics of prevention, and those are the people that we have to be careful with.
For example how many people know the different ways to catch Hep C, Or Aids for that matter?
Hep C Prevention: Ways to catch it.
"Intranasal cocaine use through the sharing of straws or other instruments—sharing straws to "snort" cocaine may lead to contact with small amounts of blood through nasal ulcers or scrapes." - pegasys Website.

One more thing I forgot to add raven, alcohol to people who have Hep C, is just like adding fuel to a fire, and to someone who does not know they even have have Hep C, it can be deadly. Thanks for your well thought out input.
"Dear Dr Margaret
I might start dating someone who just told me he has hepatitis C. Can you get it from sex? Can you get it from kissing? If a condom was used, can you still get it? Please let me know facts about this. I’m very worried."
"Full marks to your friend for letting you know that he has hepatitis C. But I agree that hepatitis C is not something you want to acquire, because in roughly 1 in 10 people who are infected, it causes long-term damage to the liver (cirrhosis). This is most likely to happen in people who stress their liver by drinking too much alcohol in addition to having hepatitis C. Also, a few people with hepatitis C develop liver cancer. "
