Alright so today is the 4th of July and the main reason everyone gets hyped up about this day is because of the fireworks. So heres the question, has there ever been a time where you were practically Blown up, or had a deaf ear, or Burned because of some cuetes? Tell your stories here....I'll start it off.
The legal fireworks suck ass so I usually buy sky rockets, boom booms, and make my own M-8o's. This story has to do with this defective m'8o that went bad. If you guys don't know how to make these things, I'll show ya'.
You need a large plastic soda bottle. The largest ones, not the 20 oz ones..but the bigger ones. Then you need some firework powder...it's best if you buy some picollo petes (the ones that whistle) at any place where they sell fireworks. Get all the powder off the picollo petes. ( I usually do it by hitting them with a brick, and it all comes out). You can use any kinda firework to get the powder, but I use these because they have the most..and they're cheap. Once you get the powder....make a hole on the bottlecap so that the fuse (green thing you light up) can go threw it. Put the fuse through the hole, and then add all the firework powder to the bottlecap. (MAKE SURE it's filled up to the top of the bottle cap otherwise it'll turn out crappy.) Once you're done with that, put it back on the soda bottle and seal it really tight. Ireccomend you use two fuses, because you do not want to be anywhere near that thing just incase it blows up too fast..trust me, you're fucked if you're too close. Once you light it, run like hell and cover your ears, because it's loud as hell.
Anyways now that I taught you how to make one, heres my bad experience with this m-8o I made. Everything seemed to be working, but I only used one fuse so when I lit it up..it exploded too quickly..and me and a homie were def like for the entire day (no lie)...my homie got hit with the bottle cap and the next day he had the biggest bruise on his arm..lmfao.
Those things are crazy...

I never do fireworks on 4th of July. lol I just watch the neighbors light up theirs, and have a beer on my porch, while my son goes and cheers with the neighbor's kids.
But, I do have a firework story...
When I was about 10 years old... I went to Mexico for vacation. Well in those days, in Tequila Jal, there was barely any cars. So we were free to play on the streets with no worries. This year in particular, playing with fireworks was the thing all kids were doing. It was no special ocassion, and it wasn't any super cool fireworks either. We just had what they call el pedo de bruja, buscapiez, and shit like that. Anyway... my brothers and I met this dude that said he knew how to make a bad ass firework. We all helped him work on it, and finally it was done! We decided to light it up infront of mi abuelita's neighbor's house. Only because her sidewalk was higher than mi abuela's and it would be easier to light up if we did it from the edge of the sidewalk. Anyway... we lit it up, and we scattered. lol Then... BOOM! Nothing cool happened, except for the huge noise. Lucky us, we covered our ears real good! But, the rest of the colonia, not so much. We ended up leaving lots of people deaf, including mi abuelito, mis tios, my mom, etc. When mom came out we blamed it on that dude, and walked in the house like we didn't even know him. hahaha
The end.

Lmfaooo, yeah thats happened in my neighborhood a few times...in the end no one wants to take the blame for it. Everyone is wondering who the hell did it. It's crazy. xD
